A NEW STUDY CENTRE OF IGNOU STARTS AT ALIPURDUAR

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 27th August, 2015: A Study Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has been established in the newly created district of Alipurduar at Alipurduar Mahila Mahavidyalaya. By a press release, the news has been declared by IGNOU. According to the press release the programmes activated at this Study Centre are Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Arts (English), Master of Arts (Political Science), Certificate in Business Skills (CBS) and Certificate in Functional English (CFE). Prof. Amitabh Roy has been appointed as Part-time Coordinator of the Study Centre. The Study Centre has started functioning w.e.f July, 2015 session. IGNOU Regional Centre Siliguri also informed that the existing students of BA, B.Com, MEG, and MPS programs under Siliguri Regional Centre may get themselves shifted to this newly established Study Centre according to their preference.
